The challenge: To acknowledge the heritage of the setting without allowing the design to feel heavy or overly traditional.
The concept: Baroque romance, reimagined with lightness, humour and contemporary detail.
The creative direction: Toile de Jouy used in an unexpected way, playful marzipan fruits and dramatic candelabra pyjamas bringing height, softness and a modern theatricality to the table.
