Teaching a Mermaid to fly
The brief: An artistic collaboration with photographer Luke Woodford and international textile artist Nathalie Frost, created simply for the joy of making something beautiful.
The challenge: To work with parachutes originally intended for another project and allow their scale, movement and form to become the story
The concept: Playful, poetic and deliberately simple - a mermaid learning to fly.
The creative direction: Minimal intervention, soft movement and an almost dreamlike sense of freedom, allowing the images to speak for themselves.
